Welcome to our new website!
On behalf of the National Sales Network Board of Directors, National Officers, Houston NSN executive leadership, and current NSN members, I would like to welcome you to the NSN Houston chapter website.
As your chapter president, my vision is to create stability in the Houston chapter, and expand our effectiveness for our members, as well as our corporate sponsors in the local community. There is a saying that, “Before you can move forward, you must have some sense of where you have come from and where you are today”. Several years ago, a few ambitious sales professionals founded this chapter. They were dedicated to promoting career development and advancement opportunities for African American sales and sales management professionals. Although the Houston chapter has undergone re-organization, our goal is still the same.
Today, NSN Houston has a strong leadership team committed to strengthening this chapter while upholding the mission of the organization. We have a diverse membership of Sales Professionals from a wide array of industries including: financial investments, biotech sales, consumer product sales, software sales, business to business sales, capital equipment sales, pharmaceutical sales, entrepreneurs, as well as those interested in joining the sales profession. Our chapter is young and growing. We offer ample opportunity for energetic, ambitious individuals interested in realizing our vision of becoming the “ Professional association of choice for the African American sales professional”. As our National organization continues to grow in leaps and bounds, with your active participation so, too, will the Houston chapter. With your active participation we can deliver exceptional sales skills and mentoring programs.
I am very excited as to what the future holds for the Houston area. Therefore, I would like to personally extend an invitation to all African American sales professionals in the south Texas region to get involved with the Houston chapter of National Sales Network. We can provide career opportunities, skill development and enhancement, as well as networking opportunities with our corporate sponsors. We would love to have your support as an active member! Remember, it is not always “what you know”, but “who you know” that gets you ahead in the sales arena. Please join us at the next NSN Houston event!
